The Role

Napkyn Analytics is one of the largest dedicated digital analytics consultancies in North America. We work with marketing, IT, and finance executives at some of the most prominent brands on the web to help them strategically implement digital analytics and report on digital performance against c-level business objectives.

As Finance Manager, you will own all the finance functions for the organization and represent finance on the leadership team.  This means managing your time between tasks such as processing data to helping the company with multi-functional corporate initiatives.

Reporting to the President and a virtual CFO, you are tasked to effectively transition between strategic thinking and detailed data management and processing.


  • University degree in business or equivalent
  • CPA designation an asset

Planning and Analysis: preparation and support of annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting process. Support of information required for corporate KPI and KBO. Analytical support on projects as needed.

Reporting: preparation of monthly financial package including consolidated statements for three entities. Support and preparation of quarterly financial review for executive team.

Preparation of annual working papers for external accountants and tax advisors. Preparation of SRED filing information.

Processing: maintenance of all day to day records including payroll preparation, accounts receivable processing and collection, accounts payable processing, revenue recognition, currency management including hedging, cash management, banking, intercompany, HST reporting and compliance, annual payroll reporting, fixed asset ledger maintenance, maintenance of all annual and permanent records, monthly reconciliations and working paper preparation, and other day to day functions as required.

Administration: Provide support for review of general and customer related contracts, support for annual review of insurance and benefits programs, policy documentation and management for finance and other functions as required.

Management: Finance representative for all key projects and initiatives undertaken by company including leadership team.


Reporting would be to the company President with support and direction provided by a virtual CFO.
